Regions of Italy
Italy is divided into twenty states/provinces that are called regions. They span from the mountains regions of the Alps to the warm beaches of Sicily.
The capital and largest city in Italy is Rome. It is located in the region of Lazio. The island city of Venice is located in the Veneto Region while Naples can be found in the southern region of Campania.
